Any nice campgrounds near Corpus Christi, TX?

Has anyone camped in the corpus area and can recommend a good place?

Last November we stayed at Southern Oaks Luxury RV Resort in Aransas Pass and it was good.Close to walmart and all amenities.
Its in a big open area surrounded by some golf greens.Twenty minute drive to Corpus and we went there often.Close to Port Aransas
on Padre Island.

I assume you are looking for a long term place to stay (the winter). However if not, we've stayed at Lake Corpus Christi State Park a few times and really enjoyed it. It's a nice, clean park very near Corpus, but far enough out to be peaceful. Like Birchwood said though, the Rock Port, Fulton areas are near Corpus, we really like it there.
