It depends on what connectors the Sony has, and what connectors the surround sound has. You'll need a cable connecting the audio out from the TV to the audio in on the surround sound.
We have an RV Audio Connections Illustrated Guide that will help you identify what kind of cable you need.
The TV and surround sound manuals usually have a page with a drawing that identifies the audio inputs and outputs. It's sometimes easier to check the manual than to check the back of the devices.
After getting the right cable connected, you may need to set the TV menu to get audio output. And you'll have to select the correct input on the surround sound remote control.
