Hi -- so sorry to post twice in 2 days, but we have a big issue now. We have a 2016 4018. We have the Hisense refrigerator that's a top fridge/bottom freezer - it was an upgrade but came from the factory. Our freezer is working fine, but our refrigerator is not working at all. We've reset the temperature several times, we've triple checked the seals. We tried to call Hisense direct, phone number was disconnected. We are traveling physical therapists and on assignment in Oklahoma (from Ohio) and have 2 dogs with us. We're living out of the Cyclone right now. What are our options to get it fixed?? We've already had milk and other products spoil and are at our wits end! Please help! Thanks!!!!

Hi RachelMcC,

This sounds like it might be a residential Refrigerator that runs on electricity only (no propane).

Assuming that the interior lights are on, and the freezer is actually cooling, you should check for airflow between the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Most residential refrigerators cool the freezer and the cold air circulates from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. If something is blocking the vent, that could account for what you're describing.

You should also take a look at the manual for the refrigerator in case there's a control for the refrigerator temp.

One or 2 dorm refrigerators from Wally world will get you thru the crunch for abt $200. When all is fixed sell them.

Dan and Ann,
Thanks. We checked both ends of the freezer/refrigerator area and nothing is blocking airflow. We're just stumped. It was working and it is a new appliance. It does run on electricity, no propane. We also have a transformer that runs the fridge while we're on the road. We've tried to run it both with the transformer on and off. We even shut down all power and started over with no success. We don't hear any fan noise in the fridge part.

What's the model number of the refrigerator (probably on a label inside).

Do you have the manual?

Has the refrigerator compartment ever cooled?

Model number is RF20N6ASE. We have the manual, but it didn't help at all. The fridge was working previously and we're not sure what changed, it was while we were parked.

The manual talks about a HOLIDAY mode. Any chance it's been put in that mode by mistake.

You also may have a SUPERCOOL button. Have you tried that.

Checked holiday, that's not on. We have had supercool on several times and it doesn't seem to affect anything one way or the other.
