Just for future reference. If your Studor Valve goes bad, you will have the same smell. Don't replace it with the cheep $9.00 one. It does not meet any code. This one http://www.lowes.com/pd_543560-143-82679K___?productId=50148230&pl=1&Ntt=studor+valve does. We had to replace ours. I noticed that Heartland was putting in the good ones when we took the factory tour last year as part of the National Rally. Ours had the cheep one and it failed. It took me four days to find out what was making that smell! It is located under the island and bathroom sinks in our fifth wheel. You will see a drain pipe going out and then 90 degrees up capped off with the Studor valve.
