Help
I have a 2009 sundance 3300sk
Since new the landing geear motor has a hard time raising the front of the trailer.
The motor labors to the point where sometimes it blows a fuse.
In winter when cold it cannot seem to raise the front of the trailer even when the trailer is empty.

How can I correct this problem?
Any ideas? suggestions?
What are my options?

Need your help

Go to a dual-motor system... I replaced my lift system with one from Ultra-Fab... has motors on each leg with dual controls.

Lippert/Venture also has an upgrade kit but I don't trust them as they are the suppliers of the original crappy system.

Others have posted of having that problem and found out just greasing the internal leg gears cured it.

I had a real hard time to operate my landing gear manualy and took the posts off to check the gear assembly. The gears were dry and the screw gear mechanism was moving enough to misalign the gears so bad that the pinion was wearing off and jaming. I repaired it by anchoring the the gear so it will not be pushed sideways in the post.

It don't mather how many motors you have turning the gears it will eventualy break if it is not fixed.
