Auto adjust brakes

Those of you using auto adjust drum brakes. How tight are the brakes when you spin the wheel? Is there just a slight drag or are they set much tighter when they auto adjust on their own? Curious

We had the self adjusting drum brakes installed at the 2011 Heartland National Rally - Lippert rally special - I check the brake adjustment every six months and have always been pleased that all four drums have the same slight drag.Mike

I installed the Dexter self adjusters last summer. Very pleased after doing the "break in" and they haven't seemed to lose any of their effectiveness. I haven't jacked up a wheel yet for a feel test but they work very well. When I first installed them, I adjusted them with a light drag.
