Currently have gone thru (3) Dometic electric awning motors and am awaiting my fourth. These are located on the slide top. I was told by Heartland that they are aware of the problem and that my previous motors did not include the thermal tape that reduced the heat generated by usage. I do hope that the next one will include this feature.
