Awnings not responding

Our two electric awnings stopped responding to the electric switches to extend and retract them. Fuses and breakers seem OK. They were in luckily or we wouldn't be able to travel. 2015 Cyclone 4200.

Strange that both motors would go at the same time, even though they're not the best in the West. Does sound like an electrical problem, rather than both motors. For the record, if the motors do fail while the awnings are extended, there is a method in the manual to retract them. It's a one way deal, though. You'll need them serviced if you do the manual retract.

some awnings, carefree in particular can wrap around if you inadvertently press extend instead of retract as it will keep turning. It happened to me and some others on this forum. The fix was to push retract and it unwound and opened. . . . just sayin'.

How are you checking the fuses? If the fuse is blown, sometimes you need to check it with a meter to know for sure.

If blown, the LED next to the fuse should be illuminated IF there is a load on the circuit. So you'd need to press the awning button while checking the light. But checking the fuse with an ohm meter will tell you the story for certain.
