Axle and brake identification?

How do I know what capacity axles I have? And what kind/brand of brakes?

On the axle there will be a sticker like this one that will show the capacity.

There usually is a sticker on the axle showing brand and capacity. Have you looked?
There is also a sticker on the off door side near the front that shows the VIN, GVWR and axle capacity.

Dave,
FYI the off door side sticker may not be accurate. When I ordered my BH I upgraded the axles from 6,000 to 7,000 pounds. The axle stickers have the correct information, but the off door side sticker still says 6,000 pounds. Apparently the off door side stickers are preprinted for each model and do not reflect special orders.
