B&W Hitch Noise

Any one have a banging noise on their B&W Fifth Wheel Companion hitch. I have it when I let of accelerator in prep to stop and at start.

I have checked the torque on my U-bolts (80lbs) and the a-frame towers and can not find any play.

BTW the B&W is a great hitch

I also have the B&W hitch, but I do not have any "banging" sound when decelerating.
I love the hitch, especially when I need use of a clear TV bed to haul stuff.

You might check the bolt that pulls straight up on the pin in the pop-up insertion. If it is loose and not pulling tension on the horizontal lock pin the pop-up mounting kingpin might wobble in the bed "hole".

I pull my hitch out nearly every week and I forgot to torque the pull up pin once, and the bed pin did move a small amount, the lock pin held it in place, I was lucky I did not hit any major bumps, I do not think the sliding lock pin is rated that high.
