Back paging after looking at pics

Anyone else experience this: when you view a pic posted by someone and want to go back to same page to view other pics or read comments, you hit the back page arrow/pic goes dark, hit back arrow again and your back to main page completely out of thread you were just on. Is it just our computer or some glitch?

Not sure why you'd have to use the "back" button. I just "close" the picture going back to the forum I was reading.

Everyone that I have come across does either written "Close" or "X" top right of pic.

Mine does the same thing on some photos...BTW no close toggle or X to close

Depending on how the pic is posted I normally can just click the grey area around the picture.
This has always worked for me.
