Backing with G614's

I received a question from a neighboring friend and Montana owner. He has heard that backing the rig into a site is more difficult with G614's due to the sidewall strength and stiffness. He asked if I had ever heard this from our Forum members. I told him I hadn't noticed anything unusual. How about it Heartlanders? Any issues you've noticed?

It may be harder on the tires but I doubt it's harder on the driver. I have used G614's on the last 3 units with no trouble backing into a lot of sites.

I will say that I have done some tight turns where I thought for sure I'd snap a wheel off the hub with the tires - but so far, so good.

Duane, ever noticed that all Furd owners carry a broom and dust pan?? Anything over idle and all the big pieces fall off. Sorry....could not resist. Tell you guys what....the new Chevy/GMC is going to give Ford a run for its money. 17,400# rating for a 5er....from a 2500 HD and 21,400# from a 3500HD.

Kathy,

Do not feel too embarrassed remember I also towed a Ford the same day but that was do to driver error. After that day we saw several more driver errors too.
