Basement up grade

I'm wanting to mount two 4' PVC pipes to my aluminum ceiling supports in the basement. These will allow storage for my long handle wash brush and fishing rods. I'll be using the same connectors electricians use to attach conduit to a wall, Etc. I think it will take three connectors per run of PVC and two sheet metal screws on each connector.
Here is my concerns...I do not want to compromise the integrity/strength of the aluminum bracing...what do you guys think?
Got a better idea?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion,
Larry

I do not think that will compromise any supporting structure, basically it is flooring you are drilling into. Unless I am missing something.

The weight is light, so just be mindful about the length of the screw you choose. I just read a sad story about putting too long of a screw into floors. All was well until the guy retracted his pull ins. But I am sure we all have a story about screwing in a screw that was too long.
