I suspect this has been discussed before, but I am new to this forum and could not find a thread. My husband and I just purchased and are awaiting delivery of a 2022 Bighorn that comes with a pre-installed Rota-flex pin box. We also purchased a 2019 Ford super duty F350 with a puck system to pull it once it gets here. My original plan was to purchase an Andersen Ultimate hitch for our RV, but it seems like Rota-flex and Andersen don't work well together. I would have to purchase a kit to lock out the movement of the pin box. I know Anderson has a great reputation, but I'm a little concerned about having a hitch made up of adapters (Curt puck system -> Andersen -> Rota-flex lock out kit). Would it be better to get the heavier B&W Companion hitch that will directly connect our fifth wheel to the puck system? Does anyone have some advice for a couple of ambitious RV newbies? Thanks in advance.
