Big Rigs and RV Parks

Exactly. I think a good chunk of the parks I have been in lately, I can't park in front or in back.

The only place that I can recall where total length was an issue was going through a tunnel in Zion National Park. If your trailer and tow rig did not fit between the marked lines on the road, Sorry, no go through the tunnel.

Howdy!

We've been fulltiming for several years and never gave it a lot of thought to where we would fit into. But last year we purchased our new Cyclone 4000 which is 44' long and 13'6" tall and towed but a MDT total lenght 64'. I now have to do more research into places we stay at along the way. Backing the RV is not a problem if the sit is not to confining and preferred at times to pullthroughs. As stated before its not he low bridges I worry about my GPS takes care of that, its the trees that will get you and RV parks are sometimes bad about triming trees. I use a couple of websites to do research on places to stay rvparkreviews.com, hhrvcampgrounds.com (Heavy Duty Campgrounds for HTD's) I also use Google map earth to have a overview of the RV park/campground to see the roads, truns, tress etc...
