All Bighorn, Big Country and Landmark 365's have this new roof - not all Heartland RV's....

I just received the order confirmation of the Bighorn 3270RS that I ordered 3 weeks ago, on the Premier Package that's listed on my paper work show that it includes a Fantastic Fan with that package.

Can anyone explain to me why the Premier Package shows it on the list of included options and the factory discontinued it on the 2018s with the new roofing material that there now using?

Frank, there is more than likely a lag between what is in production vs what is documented. In a perfect world the two would track, but a lag exists between documentation, web information and production.

Frank - Len has it right. Timing differences. Somewhere, perhaps earlier in this thread, it was explained by brand manager Tom Montague as to why some BH layouts won't have it.

The roofing material has nothing to do with it. The way the roof is being build is way better with a higher R value which will make it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. If I had my choice, I would want the higher R value roof.

It is a total re-design of the way the roof is built - supports/beams and insulation and ducting- anin that length of trailer there is just not enough room for everything- my 3760 that was built in late jan has new roof but has more room has the fan - would prefer a 3rd a/c , but its all a balance- im in texas and it hot here - I a not concerned about that fan trying to move air out and cool trailer anyway- in heat its not going to do it- if needing to really get air out of living area id use a fan to blow out window or door- If your floorplan has a ceiling fan - yu could always remove it and add one there- I am waiting to see how well new insulation /cooling does this summer and will possibly be installing 3rd a/c where my ceiling fan is

We are doing our PDI tomorrow on our 9/16 built 3575 with a fantastic fan. Living in the north and often 30 amp or 30/20 with a breakout box I am hoping we are a lot cooler than with our old dark brown FR. Assumption is we have the old roof. What is the increase in R Value? Are the new trusses wood vs aluminum as advertised in our model.

Thank you for your help!

We just took delivery of a new 3270RS two days ago. The manufacture date is 4/2017 and it does have the Fantastic ceiling fan in the kitchen area. Go figure.
