Bighorn 3500 Satellite TV Hookup

I have a 2008 Bighorn 3500. I have attempted to hook up a free standing satellite dish through the jacks provided. Couldn't get them to work. I finally just ran cabled through the windows directly to the Boxes then the TV's. I feel I am missing something simple. I do I utilize the jacks?

I had the same problem with mine the first time tried to hook it up. The problem with mine was the cable connector at the docking station was poorly installed and it had one of the grounding shield wires wrapped around the core wire. Check to see if there is continuity between the ground shield and core wire. If there is, then you have the same issue.
