We're sitting here at Mission, Tx at Bentsen Palms RV Resort. There's a 3670 being pulled by a Red 1-ton dually....Is this anyone from the forum?

Haven't been able to catch up to the owner...thought we might get together for happy hour!!

We hope to get in there for a couple of weeks in January.. what do you think of the chances of getting in?

Also, have you had a chance to look at their Retama Village properties? We want to see if those would be a good winter location / investment.

Bentsen Palms Resort

I just booked to day for March 6th to April 6th with no problem.

Not sure...just call, everyday I hear them making reservations for this winter, so there still may be blocks of time left.

As for Retama, we fell in love with the place and will be moving to our lot in the next couple of days. We feel this is going to be a wonderful investment! Once you hear what Mike Rhodes, the owner, has envisioned for this development you will be absolutely amazed. I can't see this development failing, he has it planned out beautifully and it has already risen in value twice...not bad considering they only broke ground in January of this year.
