Black tank cleaning

I will be trying the Geo method for the first time. The campground we go to doesn't have sewer, so we hold it for 14 days then dump on the way out. We can't wait to "clean house"!

I just talked to Valterra, who makes holding tank chemicals. If you use these type of chemicals, do not use detergents or fabic softeners at the same time as the chemicals. The use of detergents etc, espcially those with bacterial action will kill the function of the chemicals. Most fabric softeners have some bacterial action with them. Seperately, probably OK.

yes Duane the Calgon Liquid . We use water softener not Fabric softener.

Thanks, Gary. Hope we don't need anymore chemicals after this cleansing. Couldn't find Calgon anywhere, so I bought the Mule team powder.....ha ha! I hope it is a work horse.
