Has anyone replaced the DVD player with a bluray that keeps the surround sound speakers and fm radio functioning?

I used a Samsung Home Theater in a Box in my SOB trailer. I'm hoping I can make it work in the Cyclone, but I don't think there will be enough room where the current DVD player sits without cutting the cabinet.
I was able to wire all the trailer speakers into the Samsung, and it worked like a factory unit. I tried finding one without speakers, but there was no such animal at the time. It was still cheaper than going stand alone BluRay and 5.1 receiver.

Good info! i have bought a Phillips home theatre in a box and I'm going to try to hook it up next weekend.
Were you guys able to pull an HDMI cable between TV and blu ray? My 2014 Road Warrior is wired with the non HD yellow video red and white for audio. The TV's don't even have inputs for the yellow video. So I can't watch anything on DVD until I replace the cables, then I'd like to go Bluray.
