Cabinet crown molding cracking

Hello all,
Anyone has had any issues with side kitchen cabinet crown molding looking like its cracking (see pics)? First summer with the brand new unit (2015 Gateway 3650 BHS) and I am very surprised seeing this. Looks like water damage but we haven't had any water issues, also we do not travel with it as it Is on a permanent site so couldn't be caused by stress impact. Unit is still on warranty and hoping to get this fixed. Thank you for your feedback.

Mine in the bathroom at the bottom of the door looks like that. I always assumed it was from when I mop the bathroom. I bought a matching paint pen to touch it up.

That's odd, it sure does look like water damage. I just removed those two small cabinets to make more counter space but saw no signs of that on mine.

That sounds like a great idea! Can you post pics? Would love to see how it looks, I might do the same as those little cabinets are pretty much useless.
