Can I get away with leaving the spare the TowMax OEM tire

I will only share that at our last meet n greet, one of the members told us that his SPARE towmax developed a bubble on the tire. It had NEVER been on the road yet went bad. Just saying.

Hey John, What tires did you end up getting?

They are Hi-Run ST225/75/15D's . . .

They were recommended by the repair shop that did the work on the trailer.

I had never heard of them and looked on line and found a couple good and bad reviews (there are always a couple of each).

However, the shop that did the work for me custom builds heavy duty flatbed trailers (for hauling excavating equipment) and these are the same brand tires they put on every trailer they build, and they recommended them after I expressed my concerns about what I wanted in a tire.

I'll be giving them a short run this weekend to try them out!

I am using the Tow Max as a spare and intend to do so until I have to replace the Sailuns, then use the best Sailun as a spare.

x2, except in my case, Michleins instead of Sailuns.
