We're here, just south of San Diego, for the long Labor Day weekend. The place is full for the holiday. On a walk through the park yesterday, we saw one Sundance, one Bighorn, and two Cyclones. No HOC signs though

Years ago when I was a boot in the Navy, I use to take the bus to Chula Vista and visit my cousin. Wow.. Long time ago.. I am in Maine and plan to go to my Navy Shipis 50yr reuniion in Nashville on Oct. 15th.

I will have to remember the CG there. Do you like it?

BC, yes we like it here. It's a nice, clean park. The spaces are a bit small, but it is spotless and the location, right on the south end of the bay, is nice (and cool)! There are lots of other good choices in the area . Let me know if you have questions.

I served on the USS McMorris DE1036 from 1963 until June 1966. I was a Sonarman STG2 upon discharge.

Yep.. Moved us to Pearl late 1963. Went to Subic Bay and to VN.. No subs there but we practiced a lot when in Pearl. Ended up being Flag Ship.

Going to the ships 50yr reunion in Nashville on Oct. 15th. Doesn't seem like it has been that long.
