Condensation

I live in Florida and over the Labor Day weekend I had waterleaking inside the cabin; filter was clean, unit was not iced over and exteriordrain on top was not plugged up and unit was level. Has anyone else had a problem with excessivecondensation being built up in the vents that it causes considerable amount ofwater leaking out of the vents? The heat index was 105. But it continued even at night. Of course I turned to unit off and only used the one in upfront to cool the unit as much as possible. I have a 2011 Bighorn 3670RL..

On a previous motor home we would on occasion have this problem due to icing on the coils. We would turn off the A/C and run fan only until ice melted.. This can occur if unit is not running fan long enough to keep coils from freezing.

On rare occasions I do get condensation coming from the a/c cover inside my rig, it seems to only happen on occasion, very hot and humid, I too am in Fl. it happened when we arrived 2 weeks ago for a day or so and it hasn't done it sense. I have not got on the roof and removed the cover to see if anything is blocking the weep holes though.

Had it happen only once, we were camping in southern Alabama...the humidity was sky high and we were in and out of the rig a lot. Dried the water off the grid and kept the RV closed up as tight as possible and that took care of the condensation. Never happened again but am more aware of not letting a lot of hot, humid air in while running AC
