Cooling issue with Dometic 1350

Having issues cooling. Took a photo showing top of refrigerator. At this time there is open dead air space above the unit. Thinking about getting some batt insulation and blocking the top off.

We are also having issues with ours. We were in Santa Barbara weather was in the 70's refrigerator would not go below 43, didn't matter what time of day or night it was. We looked at our manual for trouble shooting. Could be various things But couldn't determine what the problem was. It goes in Monday for a professional to look at it. Hopefully it's a minor. We will let you know what the problem is.
