I went to put on the new D-seals, and realize now I should have also ordered some of the seal base. In measuring, I now see that I have widths of the seal base on my coach: 3.66" (AP Products 018-316 Black Premium EK Seal Base) and what appears to be the smaller 2.75" material (AP Products 018-341 Black Premium EK Seal Base). Of course, the area I see that needs the most attention involves the top and left edge of the living/dining slide. The wider material is on top, and the narrower stuff on the side.
For at least one port-side slide, one side as the wider, and the other side has the narrower. This got me wondering if they're all supposed to be wider? Or, was a wider seal base used for one of the vertical sections to cover up a larger gap.
At more than $120 per 35' roll, I really don't want to buy both if I don't have to. Will the wider work for both the horizontal and vertical sections? Or, do I need both widths?
