Crackling sound in wall

About every two or three days I hear a crackling sound in the wall beside my recliner. It sounds like it's coming from 3-4 inches under a window, almost like someone crumpling stiff paper.
There doesn't appear to be any issues with wall integrity inside or out.
Has anyone else ever experienced this?

It’s expansion from the sun. Go outdoors and look and push on the wall where you hear the sound. See if there’s a bulge or signs of the glue letting go on the panel.

That's a great idea. I'll check it and let you know.
I'm parked in a shaded area and just happen to hear it right now. No direct sun at the moment.
