Curt Q16 Hitch Question

Says there are 3 grease points on this hitch. Easy to lube.lol I give up. Can someone tell me where to grease this thing. I was thinking there would be grease fittings on it but there isn't any. Am I just supposed to just smear grease on the moving parts?
Thanks in advance.

On my Q20 there are three. One straight down from the top. The other two are on the jaws but can't get to them unless the hitch is engaged.

Mine are the same as Gary's.
I close the jaws to grease....very carefully, I still need my fingers.
I also smear a little grease on the pin of the trailer.
Why didn't we do this two weeks ago?

Peace
Dave

What type grease are you folks using on your hitch? Just bought a new Q20 and having a hard time finding the "black graphite " grease they recommend.

I just use the same Hi-temp, multi-purpose grease that I use for everything else I own.

This isn't what you fried those potatoes in, is it?

Thanks for the replies. I guess I need to start reading the instructions. I threw them away after assemble. I can follow the 8 steps. Thanks again.
