Cyclone 4100 garage thermostat

I noticed on the bottom of the thermostat
There is a "HEAT STRIP" option...please tell me this is to heat the floor ..

A heat strip is normally installed in an AC unit to provide an alternate source of heat.

It is an additional heat source for the garage since it isn't insulated and the ducts have such a long run to garage they don't put out much heat.

It has been my experience so far, that it doesn't work very efficiently. A ceramic or forced heat fan works a lot better.

Agreed a space heater or ceramic heater will be required if someone sleeps in garage.
