Dexter Axles

Has anyone heard about a problem with the 7000 lb Dexter Axles? I was told by a Heartland dealer this past weekend that there are some late model Landmark fifth wheel with bad axles. These axles fall into a certain range of serial numbers. I had contacted the company, but no reponse yet:confused:

There was a bad axel run back in 2010/2011, but I've heard of nothing since. Mine were checked and were not within the bad batch serial numbers. Here's the phone number I used to communicate with them.

I don't see the phone number. Can you tell me the origin of the bad axles? We upgraded ours to 7k in 2011, I believe they came from Oklahoma.

How about a link to the serial numbers in question, if Dexter will provide it?

That would save a bunch of phone calls. Trace

What's the source of this information? Did Dexter publish something?
