Dometic or AirV????

Hi:

At our local dealer on the weekend I noticed that the just in 31 BDSS had a Carrier AirV in it and not the usual Dometic.

Does one have a choice now of which brand of AC unit they get installed when ordering?

Is either the Dometic or Carrier better then the other?

I have had Dometic in my last three rigs. On this one I ended up with the Carrier because Dometic had a fire in the factory that they manufactured their's in. I have had mine since June and love it. Was in 115 degree weather for a week and perfomed like I was at home. Also, I like the remote control function they use.
