Dometic RM 1350 Fridge

Well, we are packing to go to virgina, it will take us a week to get there,went out to start loading the fridge, it was at temp for 2 days.Now it says EO the book says The display is not talking to the power module.

What does the brain trust think?, no fridge no National Rally. Help

Can't help you with the EO fault, but I wouldn't skip any trip if my refer didn't work.
It would become a large ice chest.
We are leaving for VA in the morning

Hi Chainsaw,

Make sure you have good 12V power in the coach and that the voltage is not below 12V.

Also check the fuses on the frig control board - remove the lower vent on the outside. You may have to lift the hinged cover to see the board. There are 2 5amp fuses on the circuit board and an inline fuse in one of the wiring bundles going to the relay.

Just helped a friend solve a RM 1350 problem this past week. The interior light was not working and consequently the aux fans mounted to the fins would not run. I suggested checking the 3 amp mini fuse on the control board. every time I touched the fuse the interior light would come on. Removed the control board to check for cool soldier joint. Found the fuse holder mounted the control board wasn't making good contact, removed fuse and worked on the fuse holders. Had a lot of difficulty re-inserting the fuse. Had to file a knife edge on the fuse tabs before they would spread the holder(s) on the printed circuit board.
BTW - I had the same problem on my Dometic refer control board back in 2010, this problem resulted in a new control board when the problem was only the fuse holder. I guess Dometic hasn't learned a great deal in their control board quality in the past four years. I have a fix in mind for changing out the type of fuse and holder.

As of yesterday, we have the same code (E0) on our 2011 BH with the same fridge. You mentioned that your fridge is now working. What did your particular problem prove to be? Thanks.
