Elite airborne sidewinder

After much reading, I believe I will be upgrading my standard pin box for the airborne sidewinder. Does anyone have experience with this? I like the idea of the sidewinder to help with tight turns and better tracking. Does it work as they claim?

My 38RSRT has a 15.5k GVWR. Am I ok with the 16k hitch or should I go up in rating?
Thanks for the help

To answer your question you will need to find a CAT scale. Since many people run heavy once they have the trailer all packed up a 500# leeway is not much. If you choose not to scale the trailer I would recommend that you err on the side of caution and go to the heavier unit.

I don't have one yet, as my Big Horn is targeted to arrive at the end of this month. I have a SB F-350 and I have looked at the airborne sidewinder and decided it is the way to go for us. I wish I had more info for you.
