ENM Generator clock runs continuously when generator out of service

Recently bought a new 2018 Road Warrior with a Cummins Onan 5500 generator. Have been on shore power for the majority of time living in the rig and have used the generator only ~2 hours. The ENM generator clock is reading 1536 hours and climbing. Any reason the clock runs non-stop when hooked up to shore power?

Thanks for any advice!

I'd guess the remote control/meter wire cable is near a power cable and getting a false reading. You might look behind the control panel to see if anything is obvious. Another place to look is under the cover of the main circuit breaker panel. I believe the Precision Control Systems energy management system uses the generator meter wire to tell when the coach is being powered by the generator.
