Entry door

Has anyone done any modifications on the entry door? My rushmore front door when opened stayed open without the use of the small latch. I know it had a gas spring holding it open but can not remember how it was attached.

Our 2011 Rushmore entry door doesn't have a gas strut. The door is held open at 180 degrees by a latch.

Yes. The latch is mounted to the side of the trailer with a receiver on the bottom corner of the door.

yeah I was looking for a way to not have to use that latch.
