We should be on our way around 8am. Takes us about 3 1/2 - 4 hours to get there. Keep the highway patrol out of our way please. LOL

Having fun here so far. Wednesday, all the pre-rally attendees got together for a small potluck. Cookie (Dave H) made steamed shrimp and I made sort of s shrimp scampi. Others made sides and desserts. A real nice time.

Been working on projects during the day and visiting with friends.

Yesterday (Thursday), 7 of us went to the Saloon restaurant at the casino. Nice lunch.

Last night, much of the group gathered outside at Jay and Stella's. We had a great time visiting and some of us meeting for the very first time.

This morning is a breakfast to be served about 9 am outside my coach. I'm making scrambled eggs, Dave H is making fried potatoes, the Little Guy (Baker) is making breakfast meats and I believe others are making/bringing other breakfast fixings. Hoping for no rain!

Had a huge breakfast this morning with Heartlanders. Lots of food. No one went away hungry. Way to kick off the rally Andy and Jo!

Saw you sitting outside under your awning when I let Emme out. We had a pretty good turnout to see the new LM 365 after breakfast this morning. We'll be ready to go on the distillery tour this afternoon.

Two policemen call the station on the radio.

"Hello. Is that you Sarge?"

"Yes?"

"We have a case here. A woman has shot her husband for stepping on the floor she had just mopped clean."

"Have you arrested the woman?"

"No sir. The floor is still wet."

Due to rain, the potluck will be relocated to the pool deck behind the check-in/clubhouse building. I understand there's a covered portion.

Still on for 6pm. Bring your own dinner service and drinks along with your side dish.

On edit: some are heading up at 5:30, so head up when you are ready :)

Oh my gosh - what a great feed! Great pot of gumbo - Andy and Jo. Good eats by all attendees. Nice to be under cover out by the pool too.

It happened again. The 'Lil Guy' was stuck out in right field and didn't even get a fly ball. It was a 20 minute drive to the rally site from our location. I know it was planned because we made reservations early. Great putting some faces to the names I've been seeing. We had a great time and the weather held out for the most part. Good job Jo and Andy. John, thanks for the help and instructions on the hitch and awning. Bocce ball didn't happen due to the field conditions. Bernie, thanks for all of the ridicule of the LG and some good conversation. Dave, thanks for consoling Debbie when all of her wine broke upon arrival. Hope to see you again in Santos before you head back across the Masie Dixie Line.lol
