We are gonna try to make it. Depends on her family coming here from Michigan. I'll let you know after Christmas.

Awesome Mike. Can't wait to have you guys over this way. Let me know when you make your reservations.

Also I have heard from Rex and Stacey Hastey and they will be joining us too. This one is shaping up to be a nice size rally.

Stacy is flying to Michigan on the 11th. She will figure out when her mom, grandma, and couple of sisters are coming to Oklahoma. Sometime Mar/Apr.

On second thought, a house full of in-law women, Arnie and I may be there anyway Lol!

Well, although we have decided not to spend the winter in Texas, we are planning another trip.
Sooo, the plan du jour is to make a little casino run in March and we plan to be at Coushatta for the rally.
Didn't make a res yet but will do so soon.
And of course all subject to change. Snowy weather can do that.

For those that like to fish there is a pretty good size little lake with catch and release at the RV park. I have seen a monster Large Mouth come out of it.

If you have the meet and greet on Friday, consider having it after I do my grazing at the seafood buffet.
I think there will be about 20 pounds of crab legs and Catfish waiting for me there.

Also for those that will be busy losing at the casino, if you make your reservation using your players card number there is a good chance that you can comp your stay. Don't know if that will work for rally nights, but is should for early or late stays.

Although the casino has some pretty good food, if you venture to downtown Kinder there are a couple of decent restaurants.
Cilantro's Mexican and The Bamboo Hut are pretty good, Fausto's Family Restaurant, so-so.
Then in the suburbs there is a Sonic and McDonalds.

Oh, and Andy, do you know of some place around Lake Charles or points south that serve fresh Gulf Oysters?
Gotta get my fix.

Hope to see you all there.

Peace
Dave

Hey Dave, you can't just leave us hanging now. . . how about telling us more about this seafood buffet . . e.g., when, where, etc. Thanx, Mike

Can't wait to see ya Dave. I was planning on waiting till after dinner for any meet and greet. lol. The Buffett he speaks of is at the casino. Btw they do offer a shuttle bus from your site to the casino. As far as food there is also a good catfish place in town too. We like it atleast. Faustos is good but not like the original in another local town.

As far as the oysters go, are you looking for fresh off the boat or already cooked? Steamboat bills and seafood palace both in lake Charles have good fried ones and pats of Henderson has them on half shell if you are into that..lol...I like mine cooked. If you want them fresh you need to ride down to hackberry and get them off the boat.

Just a couple rally notes...our block of sites will be held until February late so please consider making plans by then so that you can be in the same area.

Also, give me some feedback on shirts. I can get them designed and put it out here if there is interest in one. I think it would be nice but I can't afford to do this and no one wants one. If we do decide to do one, I want to make it as affordable as possible.
