Wow, what a great attendance list for the Nevada Chapter Rally this year. It will fantastic to see everyone and we'll have lots of catching up to do at the evening campfires!!! The circle around the fire pits will be 5 deep. Great weather, good food and drink and many FABULOUS Heartlander's. Stay safe, travel carefully and get your vaccination.

Made our reservation with Sherri for site #68 arriving either 6/2 or 6/3 depending on site being open, leaving 6/7. Looking forward to the rally we haven't been to a one since 2019.

I am working up the update right now including a draft agenda and call for volunteers and hope to push it out tomorrow.
As far as I know we are looking at a group of 40 rigs and 80 or so folks. Logistics will be great fun.

HOC Nevada 2021 Chapter Rally update
Hi Folks, time is flying by and before you know it our June 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] through 6 Rally at Gold Ranch in Verdi will be here.
I wanted to take a few minutes to update everyone on where we are with the planning as well as recruit some help.
Tentative Agenda
Thursday, June 3[SUP]rd[/SUP]: Pot luck Appetizer Meet and Greet starting at 5 PM? Bring a favorite appetizer and beverage to share. Water will be provided.
FIRST SHOUT OUT: We would like to find one of our musically talented member/s who might like to volunteer to share an hour or so of your talent to a very appreciative audience.
Friday, June 4[SUP]th[/SUP]: Still in the planning stages. There are plenty of potential excursions that might interest folks such as Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, Cabela’s, Scheels, the outlets at Legends, the casinos, and more.
Saturday: June 5[SUP]th[/SUP]: We are planning a Santa Maria Style BBQ including Tri Tip, Chicken, beans, salad, and Garlic Bread. We are thinking a competition by which folks would sign up to show off their best bean concoction would be great fun in more ways than one.
SECOND SHOUT OUT: Need a few grill masters as due to the size of our group we will be running two grills and a pretty busy prep line. Bill Marsh, Chef Extraordinaire has volunteer to lead the team
( surprise Bill) however, we most likely need about 3 more experienced hardy grill masters to round out the team.
Looking for someone interested in Running the signup and judging for the bean competition.
Set up and clean up: Could use a few folks to help set up the chow line and help with break down.
Entertainment ?? Open to suggestions.
Additional Stuff:
RV WASH AND WAX: We are making arrangements for a mobile detailer to be on-site one or possibly two days if there is enough interest. Shooting for Friday and maybe Saturday.
Mobile Tech: We are working with a tech we use all the time to secure having him on stand by for Friday and Saturday, more once we finalize the plan.
That’s it for now, more as we get closer.
