EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: NY, Verona - 7/19/2013 to 7/21/2013

We're really getting excited about next week's event (our first rally). My wife wants to know how many others have families coming with them. I'll have both my sons - one is 17, the other 20. This is our 3rd or 4th time at Turning Stone - we love the CG.

This will be our first trip bringing along the SAT stuff from the house, and I have nothing other then a phone APP to try and figure this aiming stuff out.

From where we are we will be taking the Northeast Ext. (476) to 81. We can travel across NJ into PA in less time than it would take us to get north to 287. It's about 340 miles no matter which way we go. The route is the reason we are leaving at 5am so we can be past most high traffic areas before the am rush.

Duane I have the TV4RV tripod for Xmas but I haven't used it yet. I"m glad you guys get a choise for routes, I have either the NY Thruway (toll) or US rt 20 with 2 lane and little towns. So I have to pay the price in NY tolls

Count Down !!!! Were getting excited !!! We may ask for those sites around us to share their picnic tables to add to our site as this worked out great back in 2010 rally. We will have the CG pavilion for the weekend as while but because of limited parking we would love to hold many events at our site using our new tents for shade !!

Our table is yours -- we're across the street.

Vinny, the route i looked at avoids the NY Thruway tolls, and the additional toll on the GSP from Raritan to the NY border.

The Golf course is top notch many options for playing the course the main office have details.
