Only 8 weeks until the rally and it will be here before you know it. We've posted a updated Tentative Rally Schedule on the attachments and we're happy to announce during the rally we are sponsoring a charity for "Heartland Gives Back". Below is more information.
¨ Toilet paper
¨ Toothpaste/toothbrushes
¨ Deodorant
¨ Laundry detergent
¨ Bath soap
¨ Disposable diapers – adult
¨ Shampoo/conditioner
¨ Monetary Donations Accepted
Heartland Owners Club - Ohio ChapterSponsoring Personal Care Hygiene Drive and Food Drive for SeniorsIn Partnership with West Ohio Food Bank Personal Care Items needed:
Basic household items, other than food, are considered critical to health and well-being. Respondents across all income groups identified several basic household goods as "essential," meaning they are unable to be foregone or easily substituted. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are not able to be used to purchase these items and are always requested. Items needed include:¨ Toilet paper
¨ Toothpaste/toothbrushes
¨ Deodorant
¨ Laundry detergent
¨ Bath soap
¨ Disposable diapers – adult
¨ Shampoo/conditioner
¨ Monetary Donations Accepted

So sorry to hear that you are unable to attend the Rally. Hope to see you at another Rally in the future.
Only 4 weeks until the Ohio Rally. Any sites left in our Pool will be released today. You can still attend the Rally if the KOAhas open sites available. It just means that you may be in a different part of the campground from the rest of the members.
Check out our schedule for the Rally and also the Charity we are sponsoring. If you plan on attending any of the dinners out and have not let us know, please RSVP by August 11th. We have had numerous donations for our Door Prize giveaway plus there will be a Silent Auction.
There is also a Map of the Campground showing where all the members are staying. The Schedule, Charity, and Map are located on the last page of this thread under Attached Thumbnails.

We just spent a few days at the Lebanon KOA. This is going to be an excellent destination for our Rally. We really appreciate Bob and Connie Sims setting up this Rally Site. We visited several RV stores and obtained more goodies for our Welcome Bags. Also finalized arrangements at the Houston Inn in Lebanon. We will have a room reserved for our group and everyone will be able to order off the Menu and enjoy the 52+ item Salad Bar. Our Rally starts 3 weeks from tomorrow.

We are looking forward to our first rally even though it is only about 10 minutes from our house. We will be camping at East Harbor State park till the 16th then home for a day to replenish before going to the KOA on Friday. I was worried about the tight turn to get into our spot but they said they escort us on the scenic rout and come in from the other direction.

I waited as long as I could hoping I would not have to cancel for this rally.
As much as I am truely grateful for Wayne to have a good job, it seems that planning a trip is next to impossible.
About the time I cancel, they will change the schedule and then we won’t have a spot.
