EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: OR, North Bend - 7/24/2015 to 7/26/2015

Welcome John and Kathy. We would love to have you at the rally. If you are already registered at the park, you are good to go.

Friday night we will go to pizza as a group (no host) at one of the local pizza places.

Sat. morning we will have coffee, fruit and rolls in our site. We will have a potluck Sat. night after a wine and cheese reception offered by SkyMed. There will be a raffle after dinner, so you may want to donate a new unwrapped raffle prize valued at around $15-$20. The rest of the day Sat people will be on their own. We haven't had enough interest in any one activity for me to put it together, though small groups may decide to get together to do something.

If you could send me your contact information, I would appreciate it. Also let me know if you would like to purchase long sleeved tee shirts with our rally logo embroidered on them. All of the information about the rally is in the first post of this thread.

Let me know if you have questions I haven't covered. We look forward to meeting you in July.

Hi Everyone!

I just updated the first post with a tentative schedule. I did not put the docent tours into the schedule because there were not very many people who expressed interest in a group tour. That doesn't mean that a group of you can't get together and do a tour. Just get in touch with Dick and Diana Garcia to let them know you want to go. Remember that the tour price depends on the number of people who attend.

Please let me know if you have decided that you want shirts or send me your sizes if you said you want shirts but haven't sent them.

Are there any other Oregon Rallies this summer? We can't make it to this one (already camping in Eastern Oregon). Would have loved to make it....my sister lives in N. Bend, so it would have been awesome.

We usually have an informal camp out in October. We have not set a date yet, but keep an eye out on the forum for an announcement later in the summer.

Big News!

We have a sponsor! Sutton RV from Eugene, Oregon will provide the meats (catered by The Mill) for our potluck Saturday night. They also plan to bring one or more Landmark 365 units for us all to drool over. Things like BH and Sundance can't be brought in since Porters has those brands in that territory, but Landmark is Sutton's for that territory so they can bring them over for us to see.

George Sutton and his staff are excited to be part of our rally and to meet so many HL owners all in one place. Thank you Jeff Howe (LM Regional Rep) for helping to set this up! Mark and I went to meet the Sutton staff and were impressed with their sincerity and enthusiasm for Landmark which is a new brand for them.

Only 4 months to go! We have a couple of weeks before I have to get the t-shirt order finalized and collect the money. If you have decided you would like long sleeved t-shirts to take the chill off the coastal breezes, let me know soon.

Hi everyone,
I sent out an email last weekend to those I have an address for giving our mailing address for payment of shirts. I'm not sure it went through though. If you did not get an email from me with our address and your name is not Beletti, Anderson, Ditrich, or Warness, email me and I will send you our mailing address. I don't want it on the open forum.

I need payment by the first of May, please.

If others have decided they want to buy long sleeved rally t-shirts, I just need to have your order and payment by the first of May.

I have been in touch with Robert Henderson from Henderson's Lineup. He said that it takes about 10-15 minutes to weigh a rig. It looks like the caravan's arrival will depend on what time people want to get up and leave the Portland area and how many stops need to be made. It could take as little as 5 hours or as long as people want to draw out the drive. Getting to the park earlier would really help Robert out and allow him to do the free suspension inspections he has done in the past. He also has some cool new products he saw in Quartzite and will begin installing in his shop this year. The earlier we get there, the more neat stuff we get to see and have done. We will all have to talk about this, but if we can give him a rough time frame it will help. He has a rally in the mid-west and a family wedding he is fitting us in between. He will be on a tight time frame.

You aren't late Jim. The park will give us the rally rate as long as reservations are made by the middle of June. Glad you are able to come.

I sent you a PM with the info on shirts and the address for payment. I will make the order the first week of May and I need everyone's money by then.

If anyone else is thinking they want shirts or they have ordered shirts but not received my notifications about payment, let me know and we can get it cleared up.

I was contacted by George M Sutton RV, our sponsor for this rally about how many Landmarks they can bring for us to tour. As of now, they plan to bring at least 3 for us. I don't know what floor plans, but they are all fun to look at.

For our potluck Saturday, we only need salads, veggies, and desserts. Sutton will be paying for tri-tip and chicken like we had last year. The wine tasting courtesy of Sky Med will end around 5PM so people have time to get their stuff ready and get back to the Yurt for dinner.

Dinner Friday will be a no host pizza dinner at a place in North Bend. Those who did the wine stroll last year will remember the place. Their samples were really good. I will try to get a shuttle or two for the group so we don't have to try to find parking down there and we won't need DD to get back to the park.

Next week is the last week to order and send payment for rally shirts. I have to send in the order so it can be back in time for us to leave on our trip which starts in June. I know it seems early, but we won't be home to receive the order if I wait any longer.

So, if you would like to order shirts, let me know ASAP and I will get payment info to you.

IF YOU ORDERED Shirts it is listed in the table at the start of the thread along with your payment status. If it shows "paid" next to you total, I have your check and will be cashing it soon.

If it doesn't show that you have paid, and you have mailed me your check, we need to get together and figure out what happened.
