See post #1 for the list of people registered for the rally so far, if there is a blank it is because they did not supply the information.

ON August 7 there is an Elvis tribute show at Dakota dunes Casino in Saskatoon.
the performer is Rory Allen.
he has been around for quite a while, very popular.
Tickets are $50.00 which includes a very good buffet, we go to these shows often so can attest to the food.
here is a link to check it out.
If we have some people interested in attending I will book the table.

Hi Don,

I'd like to confirm a couple of things...

1. What is the street address for the campground? I see it's on Marshall Avenue. Maybe there isn't a number?

2. Does the image below where I have added red lines, depict good routing into the campground off Marshall, then up into rows?
Screen Shot 2019-06-28 at 3.15.05 PM.jpg

3. Do you think by rally time, the campground will take credit cards? If yes, will they take a US issued card? If no, will they take US currency or only Canadian? This is new territory for me - sorry.

4. To pay, is there an office at the campground or is there some other arrangement?

5. If you have added me to the list and my dates are good to go, do I need to do anything else other than show up?

Thanks Don!

Hi Jim

Thank you for the questions

I'd like to confirm a couple of things...

1. What is the street address for the campground? I see it's on Marshall Avenue. Maybe there isn't a number?

I don't know, I just followed the signs. I am in BC right now. It is my plan to go to Rosetown on July 15th to ensure several things so I will confirm everything on the 16th.

2. Does the image below where I have added red lines, depict good routing into the campground off Marshall, then up into rows?
Attachment 62149

If you are coming into Canada and travel to Rosetown on Highway 4, you would turn right at the 4 way stop sign in
Rosetown. Travel until you see the camp ground sign maybe 1 - 2 km. It will be a left hand turn.

3. Do you think by rally time, the campground will take credit cards? If yes, will they take a US issued card? If no, will they take US currency or only Canadian? This is new territory for me - sorry.

THey have no plans to take CC as it costs them too much. They can take debit and they will take any cash that is real. They are a non profit association and the campground is a fund raiser for them.

4. To pay, is there an office at the campground or is there some other arrangement?
No office so to speak but there will be a person camped there who can take money. I will confirm in July. The gentleman who had been they on a temporary basis for 10 years has retired.

5. If you have added me to the list and my dates are good to go, do I need to do anything else other than show up?

Thats right, I have regularly updated the list with the main office. I put a deposit on each site to hold them I will get my money back once everyone shows up.

Jim, I will be out there when you arrive. I will have to go back to Saskatoon to get Janina Wednesday afternoon.

Hear Yee, Hear Yee, Hear Yee!!!

6pm Dinner at the Pub on Main street if you wish
After Dinner Story telling fire at Don & Janina's site

August 8 6pm Early arrivals order in Pizza at the camp ground

August 9 Watch for incoming RV's so we can meet and greet
5pm Travel to Mainline RV Tour their RV's , boats, Power sports machines, dinner about 6pm provided by Mainline

Please note Well Mainline is offering shuttle back to camp ground should some extra wine etc fall down your throat. They are picking up a special license so you can bring your own refreshments.
After dinner If it is not too late, fire at Don & Janina s site

August 10th Free day, I have been working on securing a special event, it has not happened yet so if it does not come to pass you can go golfing, go to Saskatoon lounge around until 5pm, report to Mainline

I am putting this information here just to see who read the entire thing.

I was having a great deal of trouble getting draw items for door prizes my score 12 visits zero items. Doug from the Alberta chapter indicated he was wasting his time doing this so came up with a novel idea.

Each RV brings a pre wrapped gift of about a $30 dollar value, we place them on the table Draw tickets to see who goes up. You do not open them until everyone has a wrapped gift, then if you feel you like the package someone else has you go and switch. You can only switch once. There is a 10 minute time limit on the switching.
when that is up. you open the gift you are left with. Here is a tip Do not look at the person you took your gift from as they may have a better one, which you gave them

If you have accessed this agenda, email me at don_ewart@sasktel.net to confirm. Also, if you have registered to attend, email me so I do have your email address.

This is our first rally so we are allowed to mess up this year

The Belettis arrived Monday late afternoon. We're in site 14.

Yesterday, we drove to Saskatoon (about 75 minute drive). We hit Home Depot, Lowes, Tim Hortons and we spent about 3 hours at the Western Development Museum.

The Museum was real interesting and I can recommend it.

Well, we are into Rally mode. Been to many rallys but have not had the administrative headache. Rally starts today and I find that I have already dug us into the hole. As we agreed around the camp fire, its an education.

I hope everyone has a great time and participates in the 4x4 ride The meat provider did not bring hamburger patties he brought ribs for both nights. We will just have to adapt.

more later

Everyone has arrived, we had a very nice meal last night provided by Mainline RV. Mike the GM keeps asking, " Is there anything we can help with"?

After the dinner we had an opertunity to veiw the 14 remaining units he has left which included a Landmark 365 he has offered an incredible price on.

Later we sat around a campfire and told stories full of truths as we individually understood them about our "misadventures" with our RV's

This morning Jim B and doug O are cooking breakfast for us.

Lets see how this fine looking dat]y turns out

Everyone who could not make it, we miss you, wish you were here
