Welcome!!! Go to the 1st posting on this thread. There is a link to contact John Dawson. Tell him you plan to attend. There is also a form attached to that 1st thread message to fill out and mail to John.
Besides driving to Oregon, that's it!!!

Hi everybody
Wanted to let every one know that Lori and I are on the road to the Gillette Rally but will still be on the forum and if you are planning on attending and haven't signed up yet for the regional rally in Canyonville Or, you still can until the first of July. Please post on the forum so that I can keep on planning the rally.

Thanks to all

Hi John and Lori,

Larry and I would love to come to Cayonville. We are thinking that we would arrive Thurs. Aug 9th and leave Aug 13th.

Hi John & Lori,

We would like to arrive two days earlier for the rally so we would arrive on August 5 while keeping our original departing date of August 13. This would let us spend a few extra days in Oregon. Thanks for your help. We hope everything is going well and we cant wait to hear about your trip to Wyoming.

Does anyone know if we can have a covered fire at this resort? It states not open fires. I am thinking I want to bring my covered fire pit.

I honesty don't know but I think I remember there being one pit for fires at their barbecue pavilion and that was the only fire allowed.

John, As I told you, we would love to make this one.
With all of our travels, logistics and the interval of other events, as well as all the other stuff we have going on, it will be tough. 2000 miles round trip to be exact.
Barring any last minute changes, we will have to miss this one. See you guys in Jackson. Trace

The Park has two fire pits, and they will light them for us they are just down from the bbq area. Just bring chairs to the area and enjoy.
Thanks

OK People! The National Rally is over and hopefully everyone who went has arrived home safely or is in the process of doing so.

Now its time to look toward our next rally. We are less than a month from the regional rally!!!;)

I am gathering and organizing the info for each attendee. Some of you should have received messages from me asking for things like phone numbers and email addresses. Those just make doing group messages easier to do.

We are counting on 2 people per rig unless we know otherwise. Bill and Marybeth, we know you each have 1 person. If you plan to bring someone, then please let me know. We need an accurate count so John can order enough dinners for Saturday. He may also need it for other things I don't know about.

Please keep an eye on the top of this thread for updates from our fearless leader, John Dawson.

I am aware that it says we don't have a potluck in one place and that we do in another place. John will have to clear that up for us.

If you haven't sent in your registration form to John, please make sure you do that ASAP. The directions and the form are in the first post of this thread. Please post here too so I have you on my list.

The final day to register is July 14th. I think John can probably fudge that by a day or two. Don't let the cut off date stop you from contacting John to see if you can still register. He may be able to slip you in even later than that. It seems there are always cancellations and you could fit right into those spots.

Please do not contact the park. Email John with questions. You can ask them here and someone else may be able to answer them for you too.

Thanks and Stay Tuned!

Hi Everyone,

Here is a rally update.

Please check the top post for your site number.

I don't know that it would be very easy to change them now that they are posted and recorded, so please count on those being your sites. I did not do the assignment, so if you have a major problem, such as with mobility, please contact John directly.

If you do not have "confirmed" next to your name, please make sure your registration info has reached John.

Likewise, if your name isn't on the list and you would like to come, the registration info is in the top post. We do have a couple of slots we can fill.

If you know a Heartland owner who is not on the forum, please let them know about the rally. We have had that pop up a couple of times, and we want to make sure they know they are welcome and help them get on the forum.

If you have more than 2 people in your coach for the rally, please contact John, if you have not done so already..
You will get a final agenda in your registration packet, but here are a couple of highlights.....

Meals:

Water and POP will be available at John and Lori's site for as long as it lasts. Stop in to visit, bring a chair and stay awhile. Bring snacks if you have something you want to share.... ;)

There will be NO potluck. We have two dinners provided; one on Friday by Guaranty RV of Junction City, the other by the club on Saturday night.

Guaranty's menu is TBD.

Saturday's dinner will be a buffet of Italian entrees and side dishes. It will be at 6 PM as far as we know right now. There will be a no host bar set up before and during dinner for those who wish to purchase drinks.

Entertainment:

The Casino doesn't have any headline acts in while we are there, but the Casino is there, and we know lots of people like Casinos!!!

Guaranty RV plans to bring in several coaches for us to tour and drool over. We don't know what models, but they will be Heartlands, so we know they'll be nice! :D

We'll post more as details are confirmed, so stay tuned!

See you soon,

Kristy
