Hi Yardman67,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

I assume you have the 4 way Anderson Valve in the Universal Docking Center (UDC). If the valve is set to CITY and the fresh tank is filling, you probably have a malfunction in the valve's center cartridge. As a temporary measure, you might try rotating the valve to other positions in case it's simply an alignment issue.

If the problem continues, until you can get it serviced, you may want to just fill the fresh tank, turn the valve to NORMAL, turn off city water and switch the pump ON. When you run the fresh tank dry, turn the valve to TANK and refill the fresh tank.

If you're under warranty, Heartland will probably ship you a new valve assembly for self install, or you can have your dealer fix it.

Another choice would be to call Anderson. They redesigned the valve cartridge not too long ago and it might be faster to get a new cartridge or valve assembly from them. Call 800.476.9876 and ask for Ron.

We have some manuals for the Anderson Valve at this link.

Btw, I've moved your post out of the Chat area and into the Plumbing area.
