First trip and AC questions

This was our first trip out that needed AC. Main unit kicked on and very little air was coming out of the vents. I opened the diverter (if that is what it is called) and had plenty of nice cold air coming out of the main unit. I did notice that although I have the added AC in the bedroom the air was coming out of those vents too. I also turned on the bedroom AC (I neglected to check if the vents had flow with just the bedroom unit) and they both ran on 30amp power.
