Florida season coming up

When do the campgrounds start filling up here in Florida?

Snowbirds reserve most of the State Park sites from the middle of the state and South as early as they can. We were in FL about 7 years and that's what we found regarding State Parks. Can't speak to other parks.

Start filling up the beginning of October and by the time the holidays come you won't find a descent place. It might be to late now to make reservations to your better places.

We managed to get into a private campground in Ft Meyers 3 years ago for a week in January by leaving our name with about 5 campgrounds. Someone had to push back their arrival date and we got lucky. We had started looking around this time of the year.

We have sites available hear in Port Richey, its on the Gulf side, we are 1 mile from the Gulf of Mexico and 50 miles North West of Tampa, PM me if you need more info, its a family owned park and very clean and a lot of activities to get involved in if you like.
