I have a next door neighbor hear at the campground that is having all kinds of problems with his Ford Dually, he has replaced just about everything on his suspension and still has a problem. I told him I would post on the forum to see if you all know of a Ford forum for him to get some help. Thanks,

Not just tired..... RETIRED!!!
Thinking about this today, and the fact this owner has replace about everything on the suspension, I'm going to ventur a guess that he has the dreaded Ford death wobble Common on Jeeps and '05 up 4x4 Superduties with coil spring front suspensions. The old body style Fords with the twin traction beam suspensions also had problems with this.

Here's a Video of a truck that has the problem. The wobble happens about 1 minute into the vid when he goes over a bridge.

Ford has a Technical service bulletin out on this TSB 05-22-1 To read the full text you'll have to register.... It's free.

Oh yes I have heard of the that problem but never had it. I removed the factory steering stablizer and replaced it with a duel
opposing shock type mounted on the axle.

You ought to post the problem he is having here. Most of us on this forum also own trucks and have or have had Fords and may be able to help.

http://www.oilburners.net/forums/index.php This forum specialises in the older body style 3/4 and 1 ton fords from '80 - '97

O.k. guys, I'm hear with my buddy and he is going to explain his delimma, hear he is name is Brian,

Hi Guys, I have a 2001 Ford F350 4x4 DRW. What the problem is when I hit the brakes the truck pulls to the left. I have replaced everything in the front end besides one U joint and the front Ring and pinion. I have put two sets of calipers on the front end because it seemed to be what the problem was. This fixed the pull as long as I baby the brakes, but if you hit the brakes a little more then mornal the truck will pull the the left. I am at a loss and I am not sure where to turn next. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Brian
