For those who have EGR/Oil cooler issues with their 2003-2007 Ford 6.0 diesel as I did, A settlement has been reached where you can recoup some of your money spent on this problem. Here is the link stating the criteria, forms required etc, to file your claim. http://www.dieselsettlement.com/ I mailed mine today. All claims must be postmarked by December 31, 2013. My Ford Dealer had the record of my repair from 2009, and even though I traded the truck last year, I am still eligible for a refund. The maximum amount is approx. $825.00. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Unfortunately as I read the settlement offer, the repair has to be completed within 5 years, or 100,000 miles. Our oil cooler went out at 105,000, so it looks like we aren't covered.

Wow, that's really unfortunate. I suppose the date/milage line is hard since this all became a settlement, but it doesn't hurt to ask?

Well duh, didn't even think about the date, but we replaced it in Feb of this year, so it's out of the 5 year limit also.
