Greenball tires

Was dropping off a battery core at Costco today and asked the tech if they handled trailer tires. He said they did and had a $20 off special right now on greenball ss st line. Anyone have any luck with these or are they standard china bombs?

All trailer tires are made in China. The Sailun are built to Canadian specs and they apparently have an inspector at the factory. Goodyear are drive wheel/trailer tires and are made in the USA. Apparently they tried to make them on China and quickly learned it didn't work out. I know that Big O carries Sailun tires.

I don't think that all China tires are bad, despite what we know about BlowMax and Goodyear Marathon tires.

There used to be a Greenball tire made in the US (towmaster) and it was supposedly a well made tire. I thought they went out of business but see a current web page. Don't know if they are the same or if an offshore company bought the name and rights...

I have Hi-Run ST D-rated tires on our Prowler that were made in China.

Just got back from a 2000 mile round trip to Tucson AZ with no problems what-so-ever.

They came highly recommended from the shop that did the axle and spring replacement on our previous Trail Runner.

If they were $20.00 each...I would pass. Junk Chinese ST tires are all the same. Sailun is the ONLY Chinese made i would consider..

I've had the hi run tires as well and had no issues with them. Im passing on the Costco greenballs and getting more hi runs on Wednesday. If they blow off, I'll let you guys know!
