Grey water holding tanks

We recently purchased the 2011Sundance XLT 287RL. We are camping out of the country...in Ontario, Canada. Our holding tank #1 is full...the shower has standing water.
Holding tank #2 is empty. Do we have to switch something over to go to holding tank #2.
Urgent, please reply ASAP.
Thank you.

You should have two different tanks, with two different valves.
There is no way to "switch" tanks. One is for the bath and one is for the kitchen.
You will need to dump tank #1, if it is full. Hook up your sewer hose if you are in a campground, or go to a dump station if you are not.
Open the valve outside that says #1. Trace

Trace is correct. 2 gray tanks; 2 valves. If dumping is not convenient at this moment, there's a chance that by opening both gray valves, some of the contents of gray #1 might transfer to gray #2. It depends on the configuration of your trailer. If the tanks are at about the same height, you might have some success. If nothing else, you might get rid of the standing water in the bathroom.

BUT... if you open #1 and #2 valve at the same time,, you better have a valve on the hose connector and not just the cap. You will get a lot of dirty water greeting you when you remove the cap after closing the 1 and 2 valves.

You can put a velve at the out conn and open holding tank 1 and 2, This will let them fill from 1to 2 Then open the out conn to dump
